Stewart Bell, PLLC Announces 2016 Winner of The Harry Bell Scholarship

harry-bell-scholarship-winner-2016The attorneys and legal staff at Stewart Bell, PLLC are proud to announce the 2016 winner of the The Harry Bell Scholarship Program.

This year’s commendable scholarship winner is Daniel Dease, of Martinsburg, WV. Daniel currently has a 3.4 GPA and plans on attending Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV, for his graduate studies.

Daniel competed for the scholarship by submitting an essay that discussed the importance of trial by jury and how it is crucial for preventing government tyranny and ensuring a system of checks and balances in the American judicial system.

Daniel was chosen as the scholarship winner and was presented with a check for $1,500.00 from Stewart Bell, PLLC.

The Harry Bell Scholarship Program is open to all college students attending school in West Virginia. To apply for the scholarship, students must submit a 500-word essay on the importance of juries in the U.S. civil justice system. They must also maintain a stellar grade point average and be a valuable asset to their local community.
